Ceuta - Shipping Services Available
Bunkers
Vessels may bunker either alongside or at the anchorage, day or night. There are no draft restrictions at the anchorage. The only physical supplier presently operating at Ceuta is CEPSA (who enjoy Lloyds ISO 9002 status) delivering all grades of fuel from 380 CST to 30 CST. Bunker barge in operation is the "Harbour Service 1" with a total capacity of 2700 M/Ts and a pumping rate of approximately 400 M/Ts per hour.
Luboils
The main brands in stock are Shell and Mobil, although arrangements, given sufficient notice, can be made for other brands to be brought over from Algeciras.

Available both at anchor and from all berths
Slop reception
At present there are facilities only available for collection in small 1 CBM tanks, however there are plans to expand in this field.
Ship repairs
Electronic and engine, general repairs can be undertaken by local repair workshops, however in case of more specialized requirements, arrangements can be made within a few hours for same from mainland spain.
Ferry and ro-ro services
This is the ports main lifeline as a large bulk of the services originating from ALgeciras, have Ceuta as a destination.
Towage
Available on a round the clock basis through m/tug "Sertosa 21' of B.H.P. 2200. Additional assistance may be sought from Algeciras if required, within an hours notice.
Airports
The main airport link is Malaga, which is approximately at 135 km distance in mainland Spain. We do not recommend using Moroccan airports due to complicated border controls. Gibraltar, Jerez and Seville airports can also be utilized. Ferry crossing time Algeciras-Ceuta is approximately 45 mins.
Receipt of spare parts
Best connections for airfreight consignments is via Malaga Airport, from where expeditious arrangements can be made for forwarding to Ceuta.

Services available to undertake basic but efficient operations.
Yacht Marinas
Berths are available for vessels with up to 4M draft. Full watering and electricity facilities are available. Untaxed refueling is also available.
Charts and publications
Admiralty publications available via Gibraltar Chart Agency.
Medical Services
Assistance is available at short notice on a round the clock basis.
P & I Representation
All major Clubs enjoy correspondents at Ceuta.
Surveyors
