Port clearance documentation requirements
Four crewlists, one storeslist, one copy of Int. G.T. certificate (for vessels first call at this port), if vessel is arriving from a European port, Maritime Declaration of Health is not required. Vessels clearance is performed by it's agent. Only other attendance by any Authorities is that of Customs when vessel is calling alongside a berth.
Pilotage Compulsory for arrival and departure for all vessels berthing. Vessels anchoring receive pilotage instructions by radio, unless specifically requests their attendance on board. Pilot boards 1 mile West of the breakwater.
Anchorage These are situated - North Bay Lat 35 Degs 531 Mins N Long 05 Degs 18 Min W. The recommended anchorage is about 5 cables NW of the head of the breakwater in depths of about 26 M. South Bay Lat 35 Degs 52 Mins N. Long 05 Degs 19 Mins W
Berthing Facilities Cruise liners and vessels calling for bunkers or water can be berthed at 'Muelle de Poniente" or 'Muelle de Espaņa" depending on L.O.A. Maximum permissible draft is 10,26 M. Maximum L.O.A. is 220 M. Total quay length available is 1500 M.
